Healing cavities naturally:

The world is slowly recognizing the fact that when we substitute our food habits with the things that our body really wants, we can heal a lot of things which we otherwise thought were impossible. Dental cavities are a fine example of that. There was a time when the world assumed dental cavities can never be healed. But extensive research has now brought forth the real reasons for tooth decay and now it has been established that with proper medication, it can be completely cured.


The myth about tooth decay:

According to the American Dental Association, we have tooth decay due to the following reasons:

“[Tooth decay] occurs when foods containing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) such as milk, pop, raisins, cakes or candy are frequently left on the teeth. Bacteria that live in the mouth thrive on these foods, producing acids as a result. Over a period of time, these acids destroy tooth enamel, resulting in tooth decay.”

We believe this theory to be true, but exactly how true is it? Let us look at a few things:
Our ancients, who had carbohydrates stuck to their teeth and did not brush or floss their teeth so often, were perhaps completely free from tooth decay.
Bacteria never consume flour or processed sugar because sugar lacks nutrients.
Bacteria merrily eats vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, however none of them are prominent causes of tooth decay.

Is the modern theory of tooth decay really accurate? If not, what’s the real cause of tooth decay then?

Actual cause of tooth decay :
According to research done by some of the most prestigious dental pioneers, such as Dr. Weston Price, tooth decay is commonly caused due to these three factors:
Lack of minerals in diet
Lack of vitamin A, D, E and K in the diet
Nutrients not being absorbed by your intestines properly.

If over a period of time your body lacks vitamins and minerals and your body contains high levels of phytates, the ratio of phosphorous and calcium become unbalanced, resulting in decaying of tooth.

So it is true that sugar causes tooth decay but not because bacteria eats or produces some acid – but because sugar depletes the body of the vital nutrients.

Foods that remedy tooth decay :

It is not enough to just avoid eating too many processed food or sugary substances. To restore the calcium phosphorous balance and to regain the depleted nutrients in your body, your diet must include minerals and vitamins in high amounts so as to create a tooth that will be hard as iron.
The food which helps in this are:
Coconut oil, organic dairy
Sea food, bone broth
Organ and gland meats, such as liver
Organic vegetables

You can also limit your intake of phytic acid substances such as beans, grains, nuts, and can also implement supplements such as:
Fermented cod liver oil, which is high in vitamins A, D and K
